General Questions

- Motivations to play RO (What do you like in this mmorpg ?) I've had quite a break from RO, missed quite a lot of the BG stuff but in my endless search to find something more fun... Lineage 2, Warhammer, Single players... nothing is like RO. I don't actually know what it is, the meta-gaming, the drama, the WOE, the videos, the shit talk on forums... Something just appeals to me, can't really say what it is.
- Why do you wanna join us? Out of the list of people that are playing v3, you guys look like you know your shit, I play top tier and this is what I expect from this guild
- Do you know some guys from the guild here? Possibly? I forget... I'm sure a lot of people know me though, I have a lot of negative and positive drama.
- What is the experience you have in the class you want to play? Jeez, 5+ years, WoE'd in everything from high to low tier, done every high tier MvP, Super WoEs, you name it.
- Do you play other MMORPG's (+ time compared to RO)? Not anymore, I do have a lot of uni work to worry about though so I may not be active past 8-12 hours a day
- Old guilds (servers)? Too many to list, listing the popular ones:

- High Society
- What Guild
- Montalion
- GIRLS (Cyrus' guild on v2) {not really popular but relevant I guess}
- Eh... Can't think atm.


About woe (Yeah we are a woe oriented guild).

- Availability for Woe? All
- Weekly time you spend on getting mats for woe? I get enough, I never run out.
- Types and quantities of used consumables ? Mastelas, Blues, Awakes, Auth, Resents, Aloes, Foods (vit, str, dex), Speed Pots, Prolly missing some, it's been a while since I last played
- Explain (briefly) your role in a Woe? (SE - FE)

SE: Offensive: Squishy killer, Additional GT DPS at choke points, Break Stones, Break Cades, Break Emp.
Defensive: Squishy killer (in front of cades), Additional GT DPS behind cades.
FE: Offensive: Squishy killer, Break Emp.
Defensive: Pre-Cast DPS with grimtooth, sonic blow on hard to kill targets, protect the emp.

Pretty sure SinX use agi/str build nowadays. Plus, at the moment, we are overflowing of SinX, if you could review the class you're willing to play it would be great.

Don't really play any other class as well as I do a SinX, if you don't want SinX I'll look elsewhere I guess.

The age old argument of agi/dex is a long one. My reasoning is that the DPS you get from dex over agi on sonic blow is considerably more when you reach min-max dmg from Sonic Blow, agi can be raised to 190 aspd given the right external buffs (for grimtooth of course), for an extra 3-4 aspd I'm not willing to nerf my Sonic Blow dmg.

its all right but to be honest we would look for another class than sinx right now, do you have any class you could play instead?
If not its ok, but the maximum of sinx i would take is 8 and we got 6 right now.
I explain you my point. Woe will be all about gvg wich mean w e gonna Lp vs LP. Sinx is kinda useless in this kind of fight and is there only to break emperium. and with this vit, One detect while grimtooth and you are dead

I understand that completely which is why I played Sniper on FeelRO super woe v2, but honestly it's not fun for me. I understand their uselessness with group battles but they still have use if you can pick off rushers, break stones, break cades, etc.

I can play other classes but I don't find them fun - SinX was always fun for me. Don't know if you remember me Ken but I'm a lot better than I was on v1 or v2 by far... v1 I went 80 vit total lolz.

Ok. I think we can make Akroe playing Sniper instead of Sinx.
Anyway if Sinx seems like i think useless after some woe, w'll just flail them One by one till they reroll.

Was that directed at me? Vit modifier on SinX is crazy, 97 vit gives you enough HP to tank a shitty Champion, no reason to not go stun immune. The reason you go low vit on Creator is because the vit has better uses elsewhere and you're HP modifier sucks ass.

For Sinx its either 97 vit either 1 vit. Not more not less in both.
And A shitty champ? Every champ should One shoot you with BG mace.

Edit for the second post: I would perfect my aspd. with dext/agi yes.

Not always, with full BG reducs and 97 vit you get 19k which is difficult to reach unless you spec lower dex, there's a lot of pvp champs that go 130 dex+.

Average Asura w/o Aloevera on 50DH/25Neu => ~24000
Average Asura w/o Aloevera Combo BG (which means 54DH/20Neu) => ~23500
120 Vit Paladin with Combo BG + one Medal => ~24000 HP
And since there will be a reseter on v3, with 19 k hp you wont do anything.
And anyway Creator will rape you much more than Champion.

But for the begining of the server a 97 vit sinx should be fine. But imo after you would have to switch.
With Defender+Devo +1 vit, you are a beast.

SinX are unadapted to what SE WoEs look like now. They aren't a ranged class and SE WoEs are all about ranged skills and fights.

You want to play SinX as a ranged class with Grimtooth ? Get a Sniper (and I don't mention the time and DPS you lose trying to Hide and Grim when there are 8 Snipers on the other side who can potentially Detect you everytime).
You want to play SinX as a melee defensive class with SB ? Get a Champion.
You want to play Sinx as a melee offensive class with SB ? You will die before throwing one SB and if you can you have a low chance to Oneshot your target since it will be Devo'd.

The two last spot where a SinX can bright are Emperium Break and Stone Repair.

1 vit = perma curse, no dmg, no break, sure there is RJ but I think you have other thing on focus when you gvg or break. As he said after LK, SinX has the higher health modifier I personnally wouldn't forget that. And apple won't be the same.

I played creator with 1 vit, I understand the theory but I'm not so sure it will work with SinX as well - free resetter, I will see how 97 vit plays out, test 1 vit at one point and see what happens. You lose a lot of dmg by relying on stun resist gear.

What the fuck, 1 vit is DEATH SENTENCE in woe SE with a sinx, it only works for breaking emps in FE with a good pally supporting. Besides, we can't afford to waste pallys in sinx which mostly'll take lot of damages if they get unhided when grimming, same with champs.

I think sinx is not that useless in SE, they were in Cro because you needed godlike gears to 1-shoot ppl with all their reductions (bapho horns, freya, gentleman's pipe, blush), but here, besides the new use of Snipers and SS (heavens drive, 4134 SS, katar on, byebye baby) it shouldn't be any other different with v2. And i made lot of kills in SE!.

I played with powpow in fusion some weeks i think, he's a cool guy and grinds a lot!
